This is just a site to compile my crazy thoughts and ideas pertaining to my corn intolerant daughter, who also reacts to annatto, eggs, meat which is fed corn. Grass fed beef is better. Corn is everywhere, I'm a lousy cook, and life is too crazy to just fly by, so I had to write it all down in a place I could visit often. I am not a chef or doctor, just a mom who self-diagnosed my daughters migranes and stomach pains when no doctor could. When she sticks to her diet, she is free and clear of any pain, but corn seeps in and candy is so hard to avoid, so we are keeping a record in hopes to help her and anyone out there who is in need like me. Thank goodness for the internet and all the other researchers out there, or I would still feel so lost and miserable. If you care to visit, I hope you find something helpful.

So here is corn free veggie  broth. Since my daughter can't have chicken because they are fed corn, then chicken broth is out. So here is veggie broth we can use for soup.

Ranch Dressing, A Necessity!

Ranch Dressing. Oh how it is so taken for granted. With all its corn and egg ingredients. My daughter is a very picky eater. She will eat a few veggies and all of them only if dipped in ranch dressing. So, in other words, she hasn't been getting enough veggies these last few months as we sort out and learn all about her intolerances. It is hard when I don't know what source the bottle company used for vinegar, citirc acid,...etc. So I searched the internet and found these recipes that I hope will satisfy her needs.

3.    http://simplygluten-free.com/blog/2011/06/ranch-dressing-no-gluten-dairy-eggs-or-soy.html

This one needs to be checked and use homemade worstershire sauce and other items to be corn free but looks good once I get those items.

4.  http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2008/06/homemade-ranch-dressing/

This woman remade thepioneerwoman's recipe and shows how to use non-buttermilk. Seems easier.

5.   http://www.onegoodthingbyjillee.com/2011/07/ode-to-homemade-ranch-dressing.html

This one needs the vegan mayo without eggs for my daughter, but looks simple.

Hope one of these picks your fancy and sweetens your tastebuds.
